Department of Political Science established in our college in 2004. As college open. The Political Science department is working under the social science faculty. This department makes Annual plan as per University norms and implements it strictly. In our department students take admission as per university rules.

Lasur Station is the central place & market hub in Aurangabad district. It has located on near the city. It has decent connectivity of transport system like highway, train route. This village always lodge active role in political activity. Lasur station this village creates countless chances of employment. Students coming to our college are from rural area and economically backward area, that’s why we try to guide them in the field of professional skills to fulfill their daily needs. We organize various extracurricular activities to enhance their knowledge.

To offer update knowledge, the department conducts various programs such as group discussion, seminars, Test management also motivates the teachers to enhance their research knowledge especially for participation in state, national, and international seminars and conferences.

Corporate sector job title such as media, analysts, political analyst, Political research analyst etc.

Teaching – one can appear for NET / SET exam to qualify for working as Assistant Professor / Associate Professor in college/ University.

Introduction Of Department:

Chhatrapati Shahu college was established in 2004. The Political Science Dept. was also established at the same time and started catering education to first year students. The first graduation batch came out in 2007. The department has always remained in touch with the students of the two streams i.e. Arts.
