N.S.S. Unit started from the academic year 2007-2008. The university has approved a unit of two hundred students for the same. “Not me but you” being the core of N. S. S. The unit works for social upliftment, duty consciousness, patriotism, environmental sense and other concepts. It gives prime importance to the ethical and social value to be maintained through the programs of the unit. The unit also stands for the prestige and value for manual work, so as to create responsible and ideal citizen.

To conduct and organize various programs for the development of students, N. S. S Department always co-operate with various government departments, charitable institutes, Panchyat Samiti, Zilla Parishad, Nagar Palika, Rural Hospital, etc. N. S. S. department tries to nurture social activity with the help of these departments.
